Technology Alternative to Treating Pain
Photobiomodulation (PBM), its Science and Promise
Seventeen Science and Medical organizations are sponsoring the first Congressional briefing on revolutionary technology that effectively treats pain, reduces the need for Opioids, and lowers healthcare costs.
This briefing is very timely. The recently passed Opioid Crisis Response Act of 2018 (OCRA) expands programs for Opioid prevention, treatment and recovery.
The technology uses light therapy, also known as Photobiomodulation (PBM), to treat the underlying conditions causing pain.
A panel of international experts will explain PBM and its role in eliminating the use of Opioids.
PBM's effectiveness is documented in over 500 clinical trials and 4,000 research papers.
PBM is endorsed for use and insurance reimbursement by the national health programs in Australia, Brazil, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom and most other European nations.
PBM experts, and patients will be available for interviews after the briefing.
